Lisa Christine Powell, 43, a resident of North Fort Myers, FL for over 35 years, formerly of Nova Scotia, Canada, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018 in Punta Gorda, FL. She was born February 27, 1975 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Lisa was of the Christian faith. She was loving, caring, kind and always there for others. Lisa was a graduate of North Fort Myers High School. Lisa worked in retail for over 14 years. Lisa loved everything from crossword puzzles and music to her daytime shows. Lisa's smile was contagious, and her heart was giving. She is survived by her fiancé, Brad Johnson; loving mother, Lyla Powell; three loving children, Brandon Sims, Ashley Sims, and Nevaeh Martinez; brother, John Mitchell Mackay; as well as a large and loving extended family. Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Paul Jerry Powell. A Time of Remembrance will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33916.
