Lucy Marie Boggio

Lucy Marie Boggio, 70, a resident of North Fort Myers, FL for the past eight years, formerly of Lowell, MA, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023 in Cape Coral. She was born June 3, 1952 in New Rochelle, NY.

Lucy was a member of St. Margaret’s Catholic Church in Lowell, MA. She was a graduate of East Boston High School, East Boston, MA. Lucy spent most of her adult life in East Boston, Watertown, and Lowell, MA. She was employed for many years for the City of Lowell Public Schools Food Service Department. Additionally, Lucy enjoyed crafting and arranging floral décor. Finally, she enjoyed spending time with her family & friends. Lucy was full of life and will be missed by all. 

She is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, Larry E. Boggio of N. Ft. Myers; beloved parents, Charles and Lena Amico of Wareham, MA & Margate, FL; loving son, Edward Boggio (Laura) of Niceville, FL; adored granddaughter, Lilavati Boggio; cherished siblings, Josephine Amico of Watertown, MA, Maria Raper (Allen) of Laconia, NH, Joanna Fuqua (Joey) of Marlboro, MA, Sal Amico (Mary) of Framingham, MA, Charlie Amico (Lisa) of Waltham, MA, Lena Higgott (Bill) of Margate, FL and Mario Amico (Lorene) of Framingham, MA; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as two God-daughters, Ali Hair (Davey) and Patty Brancato.  

Lucy was preceded in death by her loved son, Charlie Boggio.  

Memorial Services will be held at a future date in Lowell, Massachusetts.   

No services will be held in Florida.
