Marie Concetta Serrago

Marie Concetta Serrago, 89, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 1990, formerly of West Islip, NY, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2023 in Cape Coral. She was born March 16, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY to Albert and Sarafina Liotta, now deceased.

Marie was of the Christian faith and attended Cape Christian Fellowship. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She dedicated her life to her family and helping them through everything. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed feeding everyone. Marie loved gardening, especially her many Orchids that she cherished. Crafting was a hobby that she absolutely loved doing, especially with her father when she was young. She had many stories to share and knowledge to learn from. The memories she shared brought us all joy that will last a lifetime. Marie had a heart of gold and touched everyone’s lives in such a special way.

She is survived by her loving children, Gary Serrago, Michael Serrago, Guy Serrago (Darlene), Jimmy Serrago, and Maria Decristan (Matt) of Tafton, PA; brother, Salvatore Liotta (Karen) of Rio Rancho, NM; as well as 16 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Serrago, Sr. in 2006; sons, Anthony Serrago, Jr., and Carmine Serrago; grandson, Christopher Serrago, and granddaughter, Pamilla Serrago.

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, September 8, 2023 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33916.

Funeral Services will be held at 8:00 AM on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33916 with Pastor Dennis Gingrich officiating. Entombment will follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery, 1630 SW Pine Island Rd, Cape Coral, FL 33991.
