Marilynn Margaret Rook, 89, of North Fort Myers, Florida, passed away August 13, 2025 in North Fort Myers. She was born May 2, 1936 in Milwaukee, WI to Joseph and Kathleen Schmitt (deceased) She was preceded in death by William Reed Rook and her sisters,

Carol Williams (Ray) and Suzanne Gill (Thomas)

Marilynn graduated from Central Catholic High in Ft. Lauderdale ……..She was Blessed by God, her Faith and Family, she enjoyed life to the fullest Bowling, Bingo and Baking Brownies. A great lover of her Rose Gardens. A great supporter of both St. Coleman School and Church and St. John the Baptist Church and Cardinal Gibbons High School.

She is survived by three loving children, Grant Rook (Kelly) of Ft. Lauderdale, Deborah Rook-Eaton (Mark) of The Villages and Jody Rook Johnson (Brett) of North Ft. Myers and Pompano Beach. Six Grandsons John Childs, Matthew Rook (Yaz) Ryan Rook, Austin Johnson, Tyler Rook and Jordan Johnson Five Great-Grandchildren Evangeline Childs D’Apuzzo, Jack Alan Johnson, Beau Ryan Johnson, Noah Murphy Rook and Noel Noor Rook

We take comfort in knowing that Mom, Gigi, Mama and Mama-Mama is at peace and we will carry her love in our hearts always.

Memorial services will be held at St. Coleman’s Catholic Church Saturday August 30, 2025
