Marina Perez

Marina Perez, 87, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 1995, formerly of Gary, IN, passed away Friday, October 25, 2024 in Cape Coral. She was born July 18, 1937 in Moca, Puerto Rico to Cecilio Ramirez and Apollonia Vera, now deceased.

Marina was of the Pentecostal faith. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance. A friend to many, she was a cherished member of her church community in Cape Coral Fl and Gary IN, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and strength.

She is survived by her loving children, Jose Perez, Jr (Dorothy) of Cape Coral, Lillian Perez of Schaumburg, IL, Ramon Perez (Pam) of Merrillville, IN, Marybelle Nixon (Stephen) of Jonesboro, GA, Michael Perez of Fond-du-lac, WI, and Richie Perez (Stacey) of Lehigh Acres, FL; five sisters; four brothers; as well as 20 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren.

Marina was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jose Perez, Sr. in 2010; and son, David Perez, Sr in 2021; and Grandson, Ricardo Perez in 2018; Mom, Carmen Ramirez; Brother, Wilfredo Ramirez; Brother, Luis Ramirez; Sister, Sori Velez.

Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33916. The family will receive friends for a Time of Visitation from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
