Marion Joyce Deal

Marion Joyce Deal, 88, a resident of Cape Coral, formerly of Portage, MI, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022 in Fort Myers. She was born April 10, 1933 in Newburgh, NY to Raymond and Nellie Hopper, now deceased.
Marion was of the Episcopalian faith. She was an avid Bridge player and enjoyed outdoor activities with her husband and family. She was an accomplished and successful business woman who always made time for her loved ones. She belonged to the Episcopal Women’s Guild, Beta Sigma Phi and Women’s Republican Club. She had a style, class and a sense of humor that will always be remembered by those that met her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Duane Deal of Cape Coral; two children, Michelle Deal of Cape Coral and Duane “DJ” Deal of Portage, MI; one brother, Robert Hopper of Newburgh, NY; three grandchildren, Zachary, Elijah and Ryan; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as Bravo the dog.
Marion was preceded in death by a grandson, Hans Deal; as well as five siblings.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd, Ft. Myers, FL 33916 with the family receiving friends from 1:00 PM until the time of service with Reverend Dan Gibson officiating.
