Marion Ina Parsons

Marion Ina Parsons, 78, a Cape Coral, FL resident for the past five years, formerly of Palmer, AK passed away Sunday, January 10, 2016 in Cape Coral. She was born July 22, 1937 in Birmingham AL. to Carl and Ina Hazelrig, now deceased. Marion was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother devoted to her family and friends. She was a college graduate, entrepreneur, business owner, teacher and baker. She was an accomplished administrative assistant and served on many boards in property management and an advocate to property owners. She enjoyed traveling across country with her husband David and their dog Sam. She was a strong woman inside and out, working hard all her life to support her family and meet their every need. She is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years, David Parsons of Cape Coral; three loving children, Billie Sloane (Gordon) of Anchorage, AK, Steven Parsons, also of Anchorage, and Stephanie Gamble (Carl) of Palmer, AK; brothers, Carl "Buddy" Hazelrig (Frances) and Jerry Hazelrig (Peggy), both of AL; six loving grandchildren, Taylor, Riley, Cody, Coa, Jordyn and Lauren; as well as several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held 12 noon Friday, January 15, 2016 at Mullins Memorial, 1056 NE 7th Terrace, Cape Coral, FL 33909. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM until the time of service. Memorial Contributions in memory of Marion Ina Parsons are suggested to The American Lung Association, PO BOX 07142, Ft.
