Marlene Mills Wenzel

Marlene Wenzel, 77, a Cape Coral, Florida resident for the past 32 years, formally of New York, NY, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2016 in Cape Coral. She was born December 25, 1938 in Bell County, KY to Leonard and China Mills, now deceased. Marlene was of the Christian faith. She enjoyed dancing and listening to music, her plants, the beautiful sunshine, sunrise and sunsets. Marlene always loved having her nails painted and she never left the house without her lipstick on. Marlene also loved being surrounded by many family and friends. We will remember Marlene by her beautiful blue eyes, her infectious smile and her wonderful wit. She is survived by her significant other, James "Dick" Mason of Cape Coral; one child Jonathan Hough of New York, NY; five siblings, Lisa Miller (Martin), Linda Thompson (Chuck) of Ohio, Lois Pratt ( Paul ) of KY, Don Mills (Joyce) of OH, and Glenn Mills of IN; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; as well special friends, Tyler Criner and Jarrod Potter. Marlene was preceded in death by her daughter, Heather Hough and three brothers. Memorial Contributions in memory of Marlene Wenzel are suggested to any Women's Center.
