Martin Theodore Rozanski, 76, a resident of North Fort Myers since 2006, formerly of Rochester and Old Forge, NY, passed away Friday, March 28, 2025, in Cape Coral. He was born February 1, 1949, in Utica, NY to Theodore and Stephanie Rozanski, now deceased.
After graduating from Mohawk Valley Community College and Alfred University, he enlisted in the US Army Reserves. He was a successful sales representative, as well as a very talented craftsman with his building additions and remodeling projects.
Marty found his greatest joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially family gatherings. He loved spending time at his camp in Old Forge, NY, and his home at Herons Glen. Whether he was lounging in the pool, sharing laughs with his friends, or making memories with his grandchildren, Marty was most at home when surrounded by the people and places he loved. His easygoing nature and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his three children, Kristina Rinella (Eric) of Rochester, NY, Michael Rozanski (Jaqueline) of Tampa, FL and Alex Rozanski (Colleen) of Rochester, NY; one sister, Dr. Evelyn Rozanski of Ormand Beach, FL; one brother, Dr. James Rozanski (Joanne) of Utica, NY, as well as seven grandchildren, Landon, Jack, and Augustus Rinella, and Marcelo, Julia, Theodore, and Henry Rozanski.
Martin was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sharon Rozanski in 2020.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, April 3, 2025, at St. Francis Xavier Church, 2057 Cleveland Ave, Fort Myers, FL 33901.
Interment will be at a later date in Utica, NY.
