Mary Claire Naumann “Claire”
January 31, 1955 — August 16, 2022
Mary Claire Naumann “Claire”, 67, passed to our Lord Jesus Christ on August 16th, 2022. Claire was born in Toledo, Ohio January 31st. She attended DeVilbiss High School. Claire moved to Fort Myers in the early 1980’s following her immediate family with the love of Florida.
She is survived by her loving children, Ryan P. Tansey of Fort Myers, and Shaun Locke (Rita Jackman) of North Fort Myers, FL; siblings, Marsha Shapland,(John) of Dunedin, FL, Scott Naumann of Scottsdale, AZ Mark Naumann (Pamela) of Fort Myers; grandchildren, Morgan (Junior) Colon, Hunter Locke, Ian, Lola, and Holland; great grandchildren, Jaxon, and Millie; as well as her beloved family pets, Gigi and Kyle.
Claire is proceeded in death by her father, John (Jake) Naumann; mother, Jacquelyn (Jackie) Naumann; sister, Mary Catherine (Kitty) Robinson; brother, John Joseph Naumann and longtime companion, Clifford Pong.
Claire had a passion for life. And was always present and kind. Her love for cooking and pleasing others was by far her greatest attributes. Her enthusiastic, fun-loving personality will be forever cherished. Claire had a tenacious love for animals and spending time with them on her back porch was her sanctuary. Her free spirit allowed her to be herself, no matter the company. Our most cherished memories of Claire were her singing her famous “HAPPY Happy Birthday” that was sure to captivate the room. She will be greatly missed.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33916. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM.
