Maxine Janice Hedrick, 91, a resident of Fort Myers, FL since 1986, formerly of Florissant, MO, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022 in Fort Myers. She was born November 5, 1930 in St. Louis, MO to Samuel and Bernice Earls, now deceased.
Maxine was of the Baptist faith. She was a beautician all her working life. She was an active member of the Orange Harbor community, the Foxy Lady Red Hats Society and enjoyed golfing. She never met a stranger and was loved by all.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 74 years, Herman Hedrick of Fort Myers; daughter, Barbara Lee Manzullo of Kansas City, KS; siblings, Juanita Crego of Winter Haven, FL, and Albert Earls (Rosemary) of St. Louis, MO; nieces, Connie Kraleman, Kathy Langley, Denise (Charles) Eckhardt, Dina Mensio, Carla (Danny) Stark of St. Louis, MO and Laura Barton of Fort Myers, FL; as well as a granddaughter, Jennifer. She was also a great aunt and great, great aunt.
Maxine was predeceased by a son, Michael Leroy.
Graveside Services will be held 10 a.m., Monday, October 3, 2022 at Lake Charles Cemetery and Mausoleum, 7775 St. Charles Rock Road, St. Louis, MO 63114.
