Melinda Ann Bailey

Melinda Ann Bailey, 50, a Lee County resident for the past 13 years, formerly of Wareham, Massachusetts, passed away Monday, September 21, 2015 in Cape Coral, Florida. She was born April 15, 1965 in Alexandria, Virginia. Melinda was of the Catholic faith. She was a kind, warm, and selfless person who loved spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren, cruising the Caribbean with her husband and family, and her cat "Kiki". She is survived by her beloved husband, Kevin Bailey of Cape Coral; mother, Carol Dupont of Wareham, MA; six loving children, Amanda and husband Joey Anderson of Cape Coral, Kady Oldfield of Cape Coral, Jessica Oldfield and husband Bob Cardillo of Cape Coral, Nicholas Oldfield of Cape Coral, Brenden Bailey, and Megan Bailey, both of Cape Coral; five loving sisters, Tamara Dupont, Caryl Andrade, Jackie Dupont, Kathy Lynch, and Jaime Dupont, all of Wareham, MA; as well as five grandchildren, Ryan and Cali (Lily) Anderson, Peter John (Junior) and Aiden Oldfield, and Caleb Cardillo. Melinda was preceded in death by her father, John Dupont. A Memorial Service will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Mullins Memorial, 1056 NE 7^th Terrace, Cape Coral, FL 33909 with father John Deary officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM until the time of service. Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cape Coral, is entrusted with final care.
