Michele Ann Gurecki

Michele Ann Gurecki, 56, a resident of Cape Coral, FL for the past ten years, formerly of Macomb County, MI, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023 in Cape Coral. She was born September 27, 1966 in Detroit, MI.

Michele was of the catholic faith. She was a wonderful person who was so kind to everyone she met. She loved working and enjoyed meeting a lot of people as she worked in the places she worked at. Michele had four wonderful children who gave her eight grandchildren that she adored a lot. Her children & grandchildren were always on her mind. She even had friends who had kiddos who called her grandma as well & that put more joy on her face each day. Michele would always keep in touch with her mother Mary Ann every day. Michele’s mother loved her very much. Michele spent her last days on earth with her beloved boyfriend Nate who adored her very much & her beloved dog Braxton. Michele was always there if you needed someone to talk to & there if you just needed her to be by your side. All her children & her family & close friends will miss her a lot. She was an angel that touched the hearts to everyone who was lucky to have her in their lives.  

She is survived by her loving mother, Mary Ann Latorre (Samuel) of Warren, Mi/Cape Coral Fl; children, Christina Courtney (Brandon) of Sterling Heights, MI, John Brochu (Caradon) of Port Heron, MI, Steven Suminski (Stacy) of Peoria, IL, and Kimberly Suminski (Andreas) of Taylor, MI; grandchildren, Anna, Cory, Abby, Jena, Brandon Jr., Nicholas, Piper, Hunter; as well as Braxton her beloved fur baby.

Michele was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Edward Gurecki.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
