Mindy Louise Medvec

Mindy Louise Medvec, 63, a Fort Myers resident for the past 15 years, formerly of Prior Lake Minnesota, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2015 in Fort Myers. She was born on December 18, 1951 in Bemidji, Minnesota.

Mindy was of the Lutheran faith. She enjoyed her neighborhood where she cared for her neighbors as well as their pets. Mindy earned her Bachelor's Degree in Parks and Recreation at the University of Minnesota. She loved scooting around with Mark either on his motorcycles, hot cars or pontoon boat. Visiting her children and grandchildren was always her priority. She loved cooking and being a homemaker.

She is survived by her fiancé, Mark Youngvorst of Fort Myers; her mother, Dorothy Muller (James) of Grand Marias, Minnesota; two children, Shawn, Heather and three Grandchildren , all of California; six siblings, Cherie McLeod of Grand Marias, MN, James Bullard (Deborah) of Randolph, MN, Mike Bullard of Elko, MN, Tom Bullard (Chris) of Sterling, Alaska, Pat Bullard of Northfield, Mn, and Bill Bullard (Lisa) of Lonsdale, Mn; and dozens of neices and nephews.

Mindy was preceded in death by her father Charles in 1983.

A Memorial Service will be held 4:00 PM Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Boulevard, Fort Myers, FL 33916. An additional service will be held in Minnesota at a later date.
