Minerva Montalvo, 76, a resident of Cape Coral, FL for the past 20 years, formerly of Nutley, NJ, passed away Monday, May 14, 2018 in Cape Coral. She was born in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico to Agapito and Minerva Rodriguez, now deceased. Minerva was of the Catholic faith. Her greatest joy was caring for her family and loved ones. She is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Miguel Montalvo, Sr., of Cape Coral, FL; two loving children, Miguel Montalvo, Jr. (Wanda) of Cape Coral, FL and Dan Montalvo (Barbara) of Caldwell, NJ; four siblings, Diana Gutierrez (Jose) of Newark, NJ, Rosa Rodriguez of Poughkeepsie, NY, Maribel Velez of Inverness, FL, and Roberto Rodriguez of Cape Coral, FL; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held 5:00 PM Thursday, May 17, 2018 in The Hope Hospice Chapel, 2430 Diplomat Parkway East, Cape Coral, FL 33909 with Father Mark officiating.
