Nancy Lou Cordrey

Nancy Lou Cordrey, 79, of Cape Coral, FL, formerly of Glendale, AZ, passed away Friday, April 22, 2016, in Fort Myers, FL. Born into a family of entertainers, Charles and Vera Hill welcomed her to the world on June 1st, 1936. Growing up in Canton, OH, Nancy followed in the entertaining footsteps of her father developing a love for horses and the art of trick-roping. After meeting, and marrying, her beloved husband William Dwight Cordrey, who passed in 2009, her life changed to the loving stay at home mom/grandma we all knew and loved. Moving from Ohio to Arizona, eventually landing in Cape Coral in 2000, gone were the days of ropes and horses, it was now a race of which grandkid could get the first order of French toast and scrambled eggs on the weekends. Nancy is survived by two children, Chris (Kathy) and Stacy Cordrey, of Cape Coral; a brother, Charles "Tup" (Barb) Hill of OH; son-in-law, William Graham of AZ; six grandchildren, Michelle, Christopher, Andrea, Mandy, Logan, and Tyler; seven great grandchildren, Devin, Trey, Nathan, Alexa, Carter, Caylee, and Kaiden; as well as numerous extended family. Nancy was preceded in death by her daughter, Rhonda Graham in 2012; and a son, William Jeffrey Cordrey in 2013.
