Nancy Lorraine Kent, 88, a resident of Lee County, FL for the past nine years, formerly of Tucson, AZ, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021 in North Fort Myers, FL. She was born July 11, 1933 in Chicago, IL to Louis and Olga Lahman, now deceased.
Nancy was a strong, fearless woman. Nancy was a blessing to all her friends and family. She liked to helped anyone that she could in the nursing home.
Nancy enjoyed working at several state and national parks.
Her passion was a Volunteer working at Arizona desert museum and the wildlife rescue center. In her earlier years she raised, Golden retrievers, Gordon setters and Whippets. She trained and showed them in dogs shows.
She is survived by four loving children, Deborah Willis of Cape Coral, Lynn Stasch of Cape Coral, Robin Hanson (Kyle) of Algona, IA, and Rick Kent (Nancy) of Angola, IN; sister, Doris McKay of Chicago, IL; 14 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; as well as five nieces and nephews.
Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard T. Kent in 1982. Memorial Services will be held privately.
