Noemi Esther Gonzalez, 71, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 1988, formerly of Rochester, NY, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2020 in Cape Coral. She was born September 2, 1948 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico to Antonio and Elba Rosa Gonzalez, now deceased.
Noemi was of no specific faith. She was a free-spirited, happy woman that lived her life to the fullest and danced at the rhythm of her own music.
She is survived by five loving children, Mario Luis Vazquez, Michael Vazquez (Romi) of Kenmore, NY, Patrick Vazquez (Ilka) of Hope Mills, NC, Deborah Lannon of Las Vegas, NV, and Erica Gonzalez (Louis Calostipes) of Buffalo, NY; brother, Jose Gonzalez of Rochester, NY; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; as well as a niece, Amy Gonzalez, and a nephew, Joe Gonzalez (Robin), all of Rochester, NY. Noemi was loved and highly respected by Aileen, David, Ivette, and Susie Vazquez.
No formal services are planned at this time. A small celebration of her life will take place in Arecibo, Puerto Rico in the summer of 2020. Contact Patrick Vazquez for more details.
