After 94 years of life, it is with great sadness that we announce the recent passing of Noreen “MiMi” Lillian Connolly, who was born in Boston, Massachusetts on November 13, 1928, to Mark Hachey (deceased) and Maude M. Hachey (deceased).
Noreen graduated from the Katharine Gibbs College of Business in Boston, Massachusetts, and became an Administrative Assistant at the GTE Sylvania Co. in Danvers, Massachusetts. She also graduated from St. Phillips University in San Antonio, Texas, and became the Activity Director at the Community Care Center in Hondo, Texas.
Noreen was formerly married to Ronald F. Sarnie (deceased) for 30 years, and currently to Joseph J. Connolly (deceased) for 20 years.
Noreen had 3 children, Pamela Sarnie (deceased), Brian Sarnie (deceased), and Wayne Sarnie; 3 grandchildren, Nina Bolden, Jason Sarnie, and Jamie Sarnie; 3 great grandchildren, Tyler Bolden, Joshua Fleury, and Jacob Fleury; 2 great-great grandchildren, Camille Thomas and Liam Bolden; and 1 brother, Kenneth J. Hachey (deceased).
Noreen was a “born again” Christian, and lived her life accordingly. Noreen will be buried alongside her husband, Joseph J. Connolly, at the Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, Florida.
