Norman Leroy McMillan

Norman Leroy McMillan, 73, a lifetime resident of Ft. Myers, FL and SC, passed away Monday, May 9, 2016 in Cape Coral, FL. He was born November 4, 1942 in Ft. Myers, FL to Leo and Bertha McMillan, now deceased. Norman was a member of North Ft. Myers Church of God. He was in the Airforce for twelve years with an honorable discharge. He worked for Overnight Transportation for over 36 years. He was a mason for the Shriners. He is survived by four loving children, Michael McMillan of Lyman, SC, David McMillan of Spartanburg, SC, Melissa McMillan of North Ft. Myers, and Crystal Young (Marley) of Cape Coral; eight loving siblings, Grace Vance of TX, Ronnie Smith of Ft. Myers, Sandra Miller of North Ft. Myers, Debbie Campbell (Greg) of Ft. Myers, Vicki Dawson (Jim) of TX, Sherry Gregg (Gerald) of TX, Pamela Paulson of TX, and Penny Cavanaugh of Ft. Myers; seven grandchildren, Megan, Erica, Solmarie, Matthew, Corrin, Zachery, and Ariel; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Norman was preceded in death by a brother, Gary McMillan. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Mullins Memorial, 1056 NE 7^th Terrace, Cape Coral, FL 33909. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
