Patricia Ann Koelber, 83, of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2025, in Fort Myers, Florida. She was born on September 9, 1941, in Chicago IL to Robert and Ethel Lundgren, now deceased.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husbands, Albert King and Fred Koelber, her daughter Sandra King, and her granddaughter Krystal Marr and grandson Bruce Koelber.

Patricia is survived by her loving children: Debra Sotira (Steven) of Romeoville, IL, Tamara Marr of Cape Coral, Allen Climer (Tammy) of Shorewood, IL, and Jennifer Bertuzzi (Gary) of Cape Coral, FL.

She was a proud and devoted grandmother to William Carlisle (Vilma), Steven Carlisle, Anthony Sotira (Ali) Daniel Marr (Ashley), Nickolas Marr (Rachel), Alina Staehely (Matt), Amanda Heino, Alex Roesel (Danny), Abby Wartenberg (David), Adam Russ, Nathan Staal, Geno Bertuzzi (Carla), Chase Koelber (Jessica), Carly Zarbock (Alex), and Kara Koelber.

She also leaves behind a legacy of love in her great-grandchildren: Makayla, Addison, Pamela, Declan, Holden, Sawyer, Brielle, Remi, Kennedy, Isabella, Chase, Macy, Ellie, Mackenzie, Geno, Blakely, Sander, Gunner, Kyler, Chloe, Seeley, Audra and Chevy — along with many beloved nieces and nephews, including Christine, Nancy, Dawn, Coleen, Kellie and Tony.

Pat raised her family in Bolingbrook, Illinois, where she worked in the medical field. In 1983, she moved to Cape Coral, Florida, with her husband Al King. After Al’s passing, Pat embraced a new chapter in life and found her soulmate in Fred Koelber. Together, they shared countless adventures and created beautiful memories.

In retirement, Pat found a new purpose in serving her community, volunteering with the Cape Coral Police Department. Alongside her administrative responsibilities and involvement with "Project Lifesaver," she championed senior advocacy and played a key role in launching the “Seniors vs. Crime” initiative through the State Attorney’s Office. Her dedication and compassion were recognized when she was honored as Volunteer of the Year — a true reflection of her unwavering commitment and generous spirit.

Though Pat had many accomplishments, her greatest passion was always her family. She was a devoted and loving mother whose greatest legacy was the deep love she instilled in her children — a love for family that continues to shine through in each generation. With her warm heart and cool hands, Pat created a home full of love, strength, and laughter.

The hole her absence leaves in our lives will be filled with the love she left behind for us to cherish. XOXOXO
