Paul "Don" Donald Askew

Paul “Don” Donald Askew, 84, a resident of Fort Myers, FL for the past 30 years, formerly of Akron, OH, passed away Monday, March 2, 2020 in Fort Myers. He was born December 17, 1935 in Akron, OH to John and Minnie Askew, now deceased.
Don was of the Baptist faith and was a well respected Police Officer in Akron, OH. He enjoyed life and loved his wife, Birdi.
He is survived by three loving children, Johnny Hickman (Denise) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Bart Askew of Akron, OH, and Ty Askew, also of Akron, OH; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Don was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Alberta Askew on January 7, 2020; as well as two brothers, Bob and John Dale Askew.
No formal services are planned at this time.
