Paul A. Koch

Paul A. Koch, age 87, of Cape Coral FL, passed away on May 6, 2019. Paul served 4 years in the United States Air Force and worked afterwards for the Federal Government at Picatinny Arsenal in New Jersey. He also was a Master Electrician and worked for the City of Cape Coral, Fl.Moving to Florida from New Jersey, Paul enjoyed senior softball, cultivating his yard with native plants and flowers, and operating his model trains. Paul is a member of St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church,American Legion of S.W. Florida Post 90, Inc and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Paul is survived by his wife Betty (married to Betty for 66 years); his sister, Joan DellaVecchia; sons, Doug Koch, wife Teddie and Jeff Koch, wife Sharon; daughters, Kathy Giardina, husband Gary and Jackie DeMilia, husband Jim,; as well as his grandchildren, Kristofer Kauff, Fiancé Paige, Eric Koch, wife Sonia,Alexandra Koch, Ryan Koch, wife Ally, Crystal Koch, Ashlyn and JimmyDeMilia, Jennifer Leo and husband Ryan, Adagia, Teagan, Scarlet, Lynn Stoltz and Ricky, Jackson, Addison, Paige and Joeyand great-grandchildren, Delianys and Colin. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday May 16, 2019 at 11:00 am at Saint Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, 1922 SW 20th Ave Cape Coral, FL, 33991. He will be laid to rest following a Military Honors Service at Sarasota Veterans National Cemetery,9810 State Road 72, Sarasota, FL 34241on Friday May 17, 2019 at 12:30 pm. God blessed me with him, when we were both young So full of life, alive and high-strung. We saw much sunshine; we went through much rain Good times and bad times, laughter and pain.
