Pierette Casey Bontempo, 59, a resident of North Fort Myers, FL for the past five months, formerly of Shirley, MA, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021 in Cape Coral. She was born December 27, 1961 in Dover, NJ.
Pierette attended Coral Springs High School (Florida) and Schaumburg High School (Illinois) in the graduating class of 1980. She then settled in Massachusetts where she lived for 41 years before retiring in June to the warm weather of Florida. She enjoyed making memories with family and friends, as well as playing games, watching the Patriots and boating, snowmobiling and camping trips away. She was a cherished mother with a heart of gold and was beloved by many.
She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Michael Bontempo of North Fort Myers; father, Robert “Pat” Casey of Cape Coral; children, Jonathan Amaral of London, England, and Samantha Prevost (Timothy) of Rindge, NH; siblings, Tara McClain (Brian) of Mt. Arlington, NJ, Scott Casey of Denton, TX, and Sean Casey (Patricia) of Butler, PA. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and long-time friends.
Pierette was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Mackey and her sister, Colleen Brophy.
A celebration of life will be held in January, with a date to follow.
