Ralph Marion Lakes, 69, of Cape Coral, formerly of Liberty, IN, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2014 in Cape Coral. He was born March 13, 1945 in Lexington, KY to Dennis and Mary Lakes, now deceased.
Ralph was in the landscaping business for 50 years. He also loved Hank Williams, Sr., and sang his songs all the time.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Phyllis Lakes of Cape Coral; three children, Shane Lakes (Linda) of Cape Coral, Travis Lakes (Stacey) of Cape Coral and Jeannie Lakes also of Cape Coral; four siblings, Dennis Lakes (Linda) of Ft. Myers, Linda Hall of Cambridge City, IN, Robin Lakes (Debbie) of Greenfield, IN and Sue Neice (Don) of Greenfield, IN; nine grandchildren as well as three great grandchildren.
