Ralph “Ty” Marone, 66, of North Fort Myers, formerly of Eatontown, NJ, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2024 in North Fort Myers. He was born June 30, 1957 in Red Bank, NJ to Ralph and Maybell Marone, now deceased.
Ty grew up in Shrewsbury, NJ, later moving to Long Branch, NJ. “He was of strong Catholic Faith”. He graduated from Red Bank Regional High School in 1976.
He was a skilled Mercedes Mechanic. He worked at Ray Catena of Freehold and later, Contemporary Motor Cars, Inc in Little Silver, NJ. He retired in 2007 and moved to Cape Coral, FL.
He loved boating, fishing and watching old movies, especially Westerns. He treasured the time spent with his son, Brandon. They would take rides to Sandy Hook to watch the Fishermen and Seals.
Ty was a passionate Father, Brother and Uncle, who loved animals. He always had his pal, Tinker by his side until he passed a few months ago.
He is survived by his son, Brandon Marone; four siblings, Tina, Larra, Robert and David Marone; sister-in-law, Kathy; brother-in-law, Mitch as well as several nieces and nephews.
No formal services will be held.
