Reneʹe LeVerne Fontaine Jacobik, 73, a resident of Lehigh Acres, FL since 2014, formerly of Bethesda, MD, passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021 in Lehigh Acres. She was born July 14, 1947 in Hampton, VA to Lawrence and Alice Fontaine, now deceased.
Renee was of the Lutheran faith and attended Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lehigh Acres, FL. She was an avid reader and was especially fond of autobiographies and true crime stories. She was an unbeatable trivia buff. She believed in sharing her love with homemade gifts and heartfelt gestures, especially those created with a needle.
She is survived by two loving daughters, Christine Nicholls (Simon) of Caldwell, TX, and Beverly Jacobik (Mike) of Olive Branch, MS; sister, Sharon Jones Versland of Billings, MT; grandchildren, Chelsea Elliott, Andrew Elliott, Kaitlyn Reeves, Dakota Reeves, and Lauren Charves; as well as one great grandchild, Beckett Elliott.
Renee was preceded in death by her wife, Arlene Lopes in 2014; as well as two siblings, Margaret Ann Gengo and David Alan Mitchell. She had many pets and grandpets that have long-awaited her arrival on The Rainbow Bridge.
