Richard Craig Brown

Richard Craig Brown, 73, a resident of Lee County, FL for the past 30 years, formerly of Kingston, NY, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023 in Cape Coral, FL. He was born September 23, 1949 in Kerhonkson, NY to Edward LePrice and Ruth Marguery Brown, now deceased.

Richard Brown was a dedicated carpenter who had a genuine passion for music. He proudly served in the Armed Forces and later pursued a career at the post office, where he dedicated over three decades of his life. Richard was not only a beloved father, brother, and grandfather, but he also found immense joy in being surrounded by his family and the love they shared.

He is survived by his loving children, Marne Coover-Faber (Melissa) of Cape Coral, FL; sister, Alice Churchill of Accord, NY; nieces, Corrie Wolfeil, Margery Cina Vett, Cindy Brown, and Lori Fullmer; nephews, Guy Churchill and Andrew Cina; grandsons, Brandon, and Dylan Hammond; as well as great grandson, Tristan.

Richard was preceded in death by brother, Edward Brown, and sister, Perry Cina.

No formal services are planned at this time.
