Richard William Kotovsky, 58, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 1995, formerly of Webster Groves, MO, passed away Monday, July 17, 2023 in Cape Coral. He was born November 17, 1964 in St. Louis, MO as the youngest son to Donald and Margaret Kotovsky, now deceased.

Rich is survived by his former wife, Pamela Kotovsky of Cape Coral, FL; their children, Emmett Kotovsky, and Brenon Kotovsky; as well as siblings, Mimi Dorhauer (husband, John) of Chicago, IL, and John Kotovsky (wife, Elaine) of Kirkwood, MO.

Rich was beloved by all his nephews, nieces, cousins, co-workers, and many friends. Rich had a great sense of humor and was fun to be around. He was a man of integrity and worked very hard throughout his career in finance, operational excellence, customs/trade. He was a role model and a hero that others aspire to be.

He loved the outdoors and especially fishing. One of his "happy places" was the Red Bluff campground (Otherwise known as "Pucky Huddle") on the Huzzah Creek in Missouri. Later his ashes will be spread there.

Rich was a graduate of the University of Missouri and had a deep passion for Mizzou sports, Cardinal Baseball and Blues Hockey. He loved music and played the guitar as well as encouraged his sons to enjoy music and play several instruments. He was a man of faith, so we know that we do not say goodbye forever, but "Auf Wiedersehen" until we meet again for eternity in heaven.
