Ricky Lee Gibson, Sr.

Ricky Lee Gibson, Sr., 65 a Cape Coral, Florida resident for the past five years, formerly of Clinton Twp, Michigan, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015 in Cape Coral, FL. He was born August 24, 1950 in Pontiac, MI to Jack and Helen Gibson, now deceased. Ricky attended Living Word Ministries in North Ft. Myers. He was a loving man who helped those around him with every opportunity. He set the example to the people around him of faith and love. He will be missed by not only his family, but also by the many who he listened to and treated as family. He is survived by four loving children, Jeremy Tribu and wife Becky of Roseville, MI, Ricky Gibson, Jr. and wife Koren of Cape Coral, FL, Shilo Fleming and husband Richard of Detroit, MI, and Staff Sargeant of the U.S. Army, John Gibson of Augusta, GA; seven siblings, Kathy, Sally, Sandy, Mark, Gene, Roger and Gayle; 12 grandchildren, Julianna, Madelyn, Julia, Jordyn, Taya, Trinity, Robert, Kenneth, Shyla, Morgana, Gabriel and Xavier; as well as former wife, Mary Tribu Gibson of Warren, MI. Along with his parents, Ricky was preceded in death by two siblings, Jack and Linda Gibson. No formal services are planned at this time.
