Robert "Bobby" Lee DeShon, 48, a resident of Cape Coral for the past 30 years, passed away peacefully in his home on December 4, 2024. Born on February 17, 1976, in Akron, Ohio, Bobby was a beloved Husband, Father, Son, and Friend.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Sherri DeShon, with whom he shared a life filled with love and laughter. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Tara Schmidt and Nathaniel DeShon, who were the pride and joy of his life. Bobby's family was the cornerstone of his existence, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

He is also survived by his mother, Kim Jackson (Richardson), siblings Brandon Charles DeShon and Monica Thompson (fiancé Lyman). He was a proud uncle to his nephew, Weston Moschello, who brought him immense joy. Along with other beloved family members, Jeff Jackson, stepbrothers Brian and Brandon Jackson (wife Miranda), and mother-in-law Sharon Burkholder.

Bobby's love for animals was evident in his care of his dogs, Wrango and the late Smokey, who were his loyal companions. Bobby, a dedicated employee at South Florida Bobcat for over a year, where he served as Class A CDL Driver.

A private family service will be held to honor Bobby's life and legacy with a celebration of life with extended family and friends will be held at a later date. Bobby will be dearly missed and forever remembered by his family and friends.
