Robert William Dexter

Robert William Dexter, Sr., 79, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 2020, formerly of Toms River, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving children and grandchild on Saturday, July 29, 2023 in Cape Coral. He was born April 2, 1944 in Beach Lake, PA to Theodore and Lucille Dexter, now deceased.

Robert, most recently, was a driver for Meals on Wheels, Lakewood, NJ. Prior to that, he worked for A.L. Don Co. as a foreman for 30 years before retiring. He had a love for nature and it’s wildlife. He loved spending time fixing and building things. He also loved spending time with his children. He will be deeply missed by his beloved family. He was a wonderful father, son, grandfather and friend and he will never be forgotten. 

He is survived by three loving children, Robert Dexter, Jr. of Fort Myers, FL, Shannon Dexter of Cape Coral, and Stacey Dexter of Flemington, NJ; as well as seven grandchildren.

Robert was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Dexter.

Private family services will be held.
