Robert “Bobby – Bob – Pellie” Dean Rayment

October 22, 1958 — June 18, 2024

Robert Dean Rayment – age 65, a resident of Cape Coral, Florida, formerly of Pontiac, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at his home. He was born October 22, 1958 to Jack O’Neil & Joanne Marie (Pammenter) Rayment in Pontiac, Michigan. He is proceeded in death by his parents, grandparents, and also his beloved sister, Patricia Ann Rayment/Dangerfield/Roop.

Bobby is survived by his 6 remaining siblings as well as their multiple children, grandchildren and even great grandchildren -  James Paul (Kerry) Rayment; Diane Marie Rayment Schmidt; Jack O’Neil (Mary) Curran; Jill Louise (Jim) Seconder; Ronald Steven (Renee) Drake; and Joseph John (Myla) Policarpo.

He was blessed to have helped to raise two beautiful ladies whom he thought of as his daughters in love, Nicole and Brianna, helping to raise Nicole’s children as well. Bobby was the most kind, caring and loving soul, who would have done anything for the family and friends he loved, including giving you the shirt off of his own back. He loved fishing, be it on a lake, river, pond or the great big ocean, it did not matter where. He was very handy at home improvement projects and was great at yard work and gardening. He was a jack of all trades, he dibbled and dabbled in multiple things, but for many years made his living laying tile.

The family appreciates the outpouring of love, prayers and sympathy from everyone.

Arrangements to be announced at a later time and date.

Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cape Coral, is entrusted with final care.

His Journey’s Just Begun – by Ellen Brenneman

Don’t think of him as gone away

his journey’s just begun,

life holds so many facets

this earth is only one.

Just think of him as resting

from the sorrows and the tears

in a place of warmth and comfort

where there are no days and years.

Think how he must be wishing

that we could know today

how nothing but our sadness

can really pass away.

And think of him as living

in the hearts of those he touched….

for nothing loved is ever lost

and HE WAS LOVED SO MUCH…!!!
