Robert "Rob" Joseph Miller

Robert "Rob" "Bob" Joseph Miller, 72, went home to Jesus on Thursday April 3rd, 2025. Rob was born June 27th, 1952, in St. Paul Minnesota.

After graduating St. Bernard's High School, he enlisted in the United States Coast Guard. He served for 23 years primarily in Search and Rescue, drug interdiction, and Aids to Navigation. He concluded his career being a QMC as a Recruiter in Minnesota. After retiring From the Coast Guard, he went to work for Smead Manufacturing as a supervisor. After leaving Smead he moved to Naples, Florida then established his home in Cape Coral, Florida. Rob and Deb were married for 52 years and they lived many different places due to Rob's lengthy military career.

They had eight children, Tamara (Shawn) O'Brien, Joshua (Shannon) Miller, Nikola Miller, Zachary (Amber) Miller, Dr. Samuel Miller, Jonah (Felicia) Miller, Olleanna (Ben) Miller-Rian, and Rachael Miller. Rob and Deb have 18 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren plus one on the way. He also leaves behind his Service Dog Soogie and serval other beloved pets. Rob has two brothers John (Patricia) Miller and Timothy (Rosanne) Miller and a sister Mary Ann Baumann as well as several niece and nephews.

Rob was preceded in death by his son Jonah and his parents Walter and Johanna Miller.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 pm Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at St. Katherine Drexel Catholic Church, 1922 SW 20th Ave, Cape Coral, FL.
