Robert "Rob” James Willsey

Robert "Rob” James Willsey, 47, a resident of Cape Coral, FL for the past eight years, formerly of Kings Park, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023 in Cape Coral. He was born October 23, 1975 in Queens, NY.

Rob was a most exceptional man, son, life partner, and friend. He was a highly skilled and knowledgeable veterinary technician who brought comfort and peace to many beloved pets of southwest Florida and Long Island, NY.  He was also highly intelligent, hard-working, humorous, generous, reliable, truthful, compassionate, and fiercely loyal to his friends and loved ones. He truly enriched the lives of all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving life partner, Jessica Rubin of Cape Coral; loving mother, Arline Willsey of Port St. Lucie, FL; Jessica’s mother, Judy Rubin of Clermont, FL; as well as James, the Golden Retriever.

Memorial Services will be held 12:30 PM on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33916.
