Roberta "Tammy" Gertrude Cugini, 73, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 2008, formerly of Bryantville, MA passed away Saturday, July 2, 2016 in Cape Coral, FL. She was born February 21, 1943 in Boston, MA. Tammy was a veteran with the United States Air Force where she sang with the ladies singing group. She played the piano at St. Therese Catholic Church in North Ft. Myers and obtained her master's degree at Boston State University. She is survived by her beloved husband, Eddie Cugini of Cape Coral; loving mother, Roberta Collins of Bryantville, MA; two children and two step children, Joanne Loring (James) of Sugar Hill, GA, Brian Hurlbut (Theresa) of Whitman, MA, Cathie Palmer (Wayne) of Murphy, NC, and Danny Cugini (Sarah) of Pt. St. Lucie, FL; five siblings, Judy Nadeau (Ernie) of Brockton, MA, Leona Bechtold of Bryantville, MA, Leslie Pietrafitta (Steve) of Middleborough, MA, Skippy Murphy of Epping, NH, and Larry Murphy (Georginna) of Whitman, MA; eleven grandchildren, Devan, Noah, Aaron, Kathleen, Alanna, Melanie, Shane, Anthony, Alexandra, Lorelei, and Vincent; great grandson, Jaxon; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Tammy was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Cedrone. Funeral Services with Military Honors will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Mullins Memorial, 1056 NE 7th Terrace, Cape Coral, FL 33909 with father Thomas Heck officiating. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Friday, July 8, 2016 at Mullins Memorial.
