Roderick “Charles” Thomas Cyrier

Roderick “Charles” Thomas Cyrier, 90, a resident of North Fort Myers, FL for the past 10 years, formerly of Munster, IN, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2024 in North Fort Myers, FL. He was born September 22, 1933 in Kankakee, IL to Charles and Bridgette Cyrier, now deceased.

Roderick was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Therese Catholic Church. He proudly served in the Navy. He attended Notre Dame for four years and was at the top of his class.  He worked at River Oaks Ford in Calumet City, IL for 44+ years.  Not only did he love his Family, doing anything for them, he was loved and cherished by his Friends and everyone he met along the way. 

He is survived by his loving daughter, Amy Cox of North Fort Myers; Amy’s half brother, John Rademaker of Cape Coral, FL; grandchildren, Mark Garza (Angie), and Ricky Cox (Teagan); as well as great grandchildren, Julian Garza, and Hailey Garza.

Roderick was preceded in death by wife, Nancy Cyrier in October of 2023.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 28, 2024 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 20115 N Tamiami Trail, North Fort Myers, FL 33903.
