Roy Lee Hager

Roy Lee Hager, 74, a Ft. Myers resident for the past eight years, formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away Friday, July 3, 2015 in Ft. Myers. He was born February 23, 1941 in Portsmouth, Ohio.

Roy was proud to have served his country as a United States Marine, he was a devoted husband and father. Roy enjoyed making people laugh, he loved to tell jokes. He was very proud of his children and their accomplishments no matter how big or small. When Roy came out of the service he went to work in the composing room for S. Rosenthal Printing in Cincinnati, Ohio, in later years he worked as a restaurant manager with Marriott and Popeye's Chicken.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Donna Hager of Ft. Myers; mother, Juanita Hager of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; children, Roy Hager, II of Cape Coral, Catherine Anderson of Cape Coral, Bernard Boimann (Linda) of Erlanger, Kentucky, and Lynn Boimann of Cape Coral; sisters, Josephine Pasqueletti (Joe) of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and Shirley Hollander (Gary) of Cincinnati, Ohio; grandchildren, Christopher, Susan, Megan, and Gabrielle; great grandchildren, Kevin, Austin, Aschlin, Blake, Adriene, Savanna, and Korinna.

Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cape Coral, is entrusted with final care.

Memorial Services will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, July 18, 2015 at the Veterans Four Mile Cove Ecological Preserve, East end of SE 23rd Terrace, Cape Coral, FL 33990. The Family will be hosting a small reception following services at the home of Mr. Hager.
