Russell "Rusty" Kenneth Walther

Russell "Rusty" Kenneth Walther, 71, a resident of SW Florida for the past 15 years. Formerly of Nashville, TN passed away Sunday, February 28, 2016 in Cape Coral, FL. He was born January 10, 1945 in Oak park, IL to Russell and Ruth Walther, now deceased. Rusty took great pride in his work as an electrician. He was passionate about staying in contact with his Deerfield High School classmates. Seeing them and calling them on a regular basis. Rusty was of the Unitarian faith. He is survived by a son, Russell Rogers (Kendall) of Nashville, TN; a sister, Audrey Ruth of Portland, OR; a brother, Lawrence Walther (Joanne) of savoy, IL; grandson, Walt Rogers; five nieces and nephews; as well as many good friends from the Deerfield High School class of 1963 in Deerfield, IL.
