Salvatore "Sal" Pusateri

It is with deep sadness to announce the unexpected passing of Pusateri, Salvatore, “Sal” of Cape Coral, Florida. Salvatore entered into eternal rest on September 1, 2025 at the age of 59. Salvatore was born February 24, 1966 in St. Louis, Missouri to Joyce and Salvatore Pusateri. Before recently moving to Cape Coral, Florida, Salvatore and his wife were residents of Rapallo, Italy. Salvatore was a graduate and notable soccer alumni of Missouri State University before entering a long dedicated career in the IT field.

Salvatore had a bigger than life personality along with a love and passion for animals. He enjoyed staying very active with fitness and cycling. He loved soccer and would never miss watching and staying up to date with all the Series A Italian Futbol matches. Salvatore also lived a life of deep Roman Catholic faith attending mass and practicing daily devotion. 

In his most recent years, he enjoyed spending his time on the beach with his wife watching the sunsets and going on walks with his two dogs whom he loved very much. He loved spending his days with his routine cup of espresso in the morning while listening to Bob Marley and then kicking back in his favorite spot on the couch watching his sports.

He will be missed greatly by his loving wife Felicia Pusateri (Geraci), his four children Vincenzo Pusateri, Nina Marren, Sophia Marren, Dominic Marren as well as his two beloved rescue dogs Luna and Luce (Lou-chay); his sister Christina Kohl (Kipp), his brother Vinnie Pusateri and many nieces and nephews.

A private celebration of life for Salvatore will be held with immediate family. In remembrance of Salvatore’s deep love for rescue animals, please make a donation/gift in honor with his name to the Cape Coral animal shelter.
