Sandra Gaye Dartt

Sandra Gaye Dartt, 65, a resident of North Fort Myers, FL since the mid 1990's, formerly of Limestown, MI, passed away Monday, February 17, 2025 in Cape Coral, FL. She was born May 27, 1959 in Marquette, MI to Clyde and Thelma Dartt, now deceased.  

Sandra better known to most as Sandie was very much an eccentric person who loved living life to the beat of her own drum. She was an avid reader and could always be found reading the newest Stephen King or Dean Koontz books. She enjoyed expressing herself through writing poetry and dancing to whatever music was playing, even if it was just in her head. Sandie found comfort in loving animals and caring for others. Sandie found immense joy spending time chatting or being with the people she cared for most deeply. Sandie always found the brighter side of life even during difficult times and was always smiling. For anyone wanting to honor Sandie's beautiful free spirit please wear something colorful and bright. Spend time with a cherished loved one or make a new friend. Turn on a favorite song and dance your heart out. Treat yourself to a favorite sweet treat or indulge in a new one. Help a stranger or an animal in need. Spend time in nature and just take in all of its beauty.  

She is survived by her loving son, Ronald Coleman, of Inkster, MI; three brothers, Clyde "Butch" Dartt of WI, John Dartt of MI, and Earl Dartt of WI; two precious grandsons, Wesson and Cody of MI; 3 step-grandchildren and their families in FL; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  

Sandra was preceded in death by her daughter, Margaret Coleman; as well as her stepdaughter and best friend, Bonnie Gedelian.
