Sean Richard Bennett, 58, a resident of Fort Myers, Lee County for the past 20+ years, formerly of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, passed away Friday, November 4, 2022. He was born March 31, 1964 in Fort Lauderdale to Joseph and Mary Bennett, now deceased.
Sean grew up in Fort Lauderdale, FL and graduated from Stranahan High School. He worked as a computer technician repairing point of sale terminals at restaurants. He was a member of The Rock Church in Fort Myers, FL where he enjoyed volunteering. He loved the Lord and was strong in his faith. He was loved by his family, church family and many friends. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his four siblings, Kathleen Johnson (Jeff) of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, Joshua Bennett of Los Angeles, CA, Erin Pennell (Tristan) of Cary, NC and Michelle Gardner of Raleigh, NC; stepmother, Pilar Brown (Kevin) of Robbinsville, NC; one niece, Kendall Johnson; one aunt, Alice Jacobson of Pompano Beach, FL; as well as many cousins.
Sean was preceded in death by a sister, Teri Bennett.
Memorial Services will be held Monday, November 21, 2022 at 7:00 pm at The Rock Church, 940 Tarpon St, Fort Myers, FL 33916.
