Sharon Joann Lissimore

Sharon Joann Lissimore, 71, a Cape Coral, FL resident since June 2024, formerly of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Youngstown, OH, peacefully passed away on August 27, 2024, at their home with family. Sharon was born March 22, 1953, in Youngstown, OH, the daughter of Ignatius Jazwinski and Louis Joann Wallace.

Sharon was of the Christian faith and a member of Myrtle Beach Christian Church. She was also a member of the Army-Navy Garrison 422 and a past National Lady President for the Ladies Auxiliary. Sharon loved her country and anyone who served. She was a homemaker for over twenty years and loved making wreaths and blankets for her family. Sharon also enjoyed Nascar, watching the birds in her backyard, planting beautiful flowers, and dressing up Josie, her teacup Yorkie.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Kenneth William Lissimore; two children, Teresa Dragich (Brian) and Ronald Wood, Jr. (Stelliann); two stepchildren, Kenneth Lissimore, Jr. (Mary) and Eric Lissimore; sisters, Pamela Fluent and Shirlee Barlow; brother, John “Jack” Jazwinski; eleven grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Ignatius Jazwinski and Louis Joann Wallace; her brothers, Gilbert “Bill” Wallace, Richard “Dick” Jazwinski, and Gregory Jazwinski.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff of Hope Hospice in Cape Coral for the care and support she received in her last days.
