Sharon Ann Vaillancourt

Sharon Ann Vaillancourt, 75, a resident of Fenton, MI, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025 in Fort Myers, Florida.  She was born March 25, 1949 in Southfield, MI to Lewis and Helen Woodruff, now deceased.  She was preceded in death by her husband Dale Vaillancourt.

She is survived by her two loving children, Julie Shepherd (Jay) of Fenton, MI and Jason Vaillancourt (Lisa) of Fenton, MI; three sisters, Vicki Davis (Val), Lisa Charbonneau and Lori Patton (Dave); two brothers, John Woodruff (Marnie) and Gary Woodruff (Debbie) as well as five grandchildren, Jacob, Brianna, Nathan, Grace and Gavin.

Sharon was predeceased by her sister, Shirley Selinsky (Gordy). 

Sharon was of the Methodist faith.  She enjoyed gardening, canning and cooking.  She loved playing games, mainly cards.  She never wanted to miss out on anything going on and would do anything for anyone that asked.  Family was important to her above all, her Grandkids. She went to all their sporting events.  She loved music, especially her Granddaughters’ songs.

Sharon enjoyed going up north to Jason and Lisa’s cabin and down south to Jay and Julie’s in Cape Coral particularly for her annual sister trip. She loved cool cars, especially the 40 Ford and hearing her Grandkids say “Go Grandpa Go!”

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Michigan.
