Sharon Kay Williamson, 65, a resident of Fort Myers, FL since 1985, formerly of West Virginia, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020 in Fort Myers. She was born September 30, 1955 in Weirton, WV. raised in New Cumberland WV.
Sharon was of the Christian faith. She is survived by her devoted husband of 23 years, Robert Jay Williamson, of Fort Myers; loving mother, Velva Jones (Frank) of Fort Myers and New Cumberland, WV; daughter, Brianna Buffington (fiancé, Anthony Jones) of Fort Myers, three siblings, Susie Asselin (Don) of Fort Myers, Amy Joslin (Rick) of Fort Myers and Fred Jones, Jr (Shelley) of Fort Myers, FL; two grandchildren, Arianna and Nathan; father-in-law, Frank Williamson of Fort Myers; several nieces and nephews; as well as three dogs and two cats.
Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Fredrick Dean Jones, Sr.
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM Friday, October 16, 2020 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33916. Per CDC COVID-19 guidelines, Mullins Memorial suggests that all participants wear a mask. We remind everyone to maintain Social Distancing while in our facilities.
