tanley S. "Butch" Wisniewski, AKA: Sanibel Stan, 74, of Cape Coral, formerly of Stroudsburg, PA, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2014 in Cape Coral. He was born March 20, 1940 in Wilmington, DE to Stanley and Aurelia Wisniewski, now deceased.
Pending further arrangements, plans for celebrating his life will come in the next few months for local friends and family, and another memorial later this summer in the town of his birth - Wilmington, Delaware.
He is survived by his four children, Stanley "Steve" Wisniewski, of Ft. Myers, Joseph Alan Wisniewski (Tina) of Cape Coral, David Mark Wisniewski of Cape Coral and James Edward Wisniewski also of Cape Coral; three sisters, Patricia Johnstone (David) of Ocean City, MD, Dorothy Edwards (David) of Wilmington, DE, and Marian Argentino (Harry) of Havre de Grace, MD; two grandchildren, Brigitte Fagan and Brandy Garcia; three great grandchildren, Gregory, Joseph and Aidan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
