Stephen Lee Nickens

Stephen Lee Nickens, 62, a resident of Fort Myers, FL since 1997, formerly of Nashville, TN, passed away Monday, August 30, 2021 in Tampa, FL. He was born April 30, 1959 in Nashville, TN to Kenneth and Betty Nickens, now deceased.

Stephen was of the Baptist faith. He was a hard working family man. He loved his wife, children, and grandchildren unconditionally. He was always there for anyone who needed his help in any way.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Debra Nickens of Fort Myers; children, Steven Nickens (Yajaira) of Fort Myers, and Tiffany Rose (Joshua), also of Fort Myers; Grandchildren, Jacob Nickens, Jazlynn Nickens, Emmaleigh Nickens Rose, Paisleigh Rose, Jaxson Rose, Matison Taylor and Julie Taylor. He is also, survived by five nieces, seven nephews, and many close friends that he considered family.

Stephen was preceded in death by his Mother Betty Nelson and Father Kenneth Nickens; infant grandchild, Ainsleigh Grace; as well as two sisters, Deborah Baker and Karen Nickens.

Funeral Services will be held 7:00 PM Friday, September 3, 2021 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Boulevard, Fort Myers, FL 33916. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 5:00 PM until the time of service.

Memorial Contributions in memory of Stephen Lee Nickens are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
