Susan Marie Genetta, 58, a recent new resident of Fort Myers, formerly of Berlin Center, OH, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021 in Fort Myers. She was born August 18, 1963 in McKeesport, PA, to Louis and Marsha Sekerka, now deceased.
Susan was of the Christian faith. She was a loving sister, friend and aunt who cared very deeply about her family. She was an adventurous person who loved riding bikes, beach glass hunting, camping and skiing. She always helped uplift those around her and always loved everyone to the fullest. She will be greatly missed by many people she left behind.
She is survived by two loving sisters, Sharon Winans (Leeroy) of Lake Milton, OH, and Sandra Schwarten (Jeffrey) of Salem, OH; nephews and niece, Garrett Polosky of Salem, OH, Brandon Slider of Berlin Center, and Courtney Slider, also of Berlin Center; Bella, the cat; as well as a host of special friends.
Susan was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gary Genetta in 2019.
Private family services will be held in FL.
