Susan Elizabeth Moore

Susan Elizabeth Moore, 76, a resident of Fort Myers, FL since 1997 and formerly of Ironton, OH, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2024 in Fort Myers. She was born December 6, 1947 in Ironton to William and Katherine Muche, now deceased.

Suzie attended Gulf Coast Church of Christ in Fort Myers. She held numerous nursing positions and was employed at River Valley Health in Ironton, OH as well as Harborside Healthcare in Naples, FL and Marion E. Fether Medical Center in Immokalee, FL, among others. Her nursing career gave her a great sense of accomplishment, but she would like to be remembered most for loving her family, her friends, and her many canine companions. 

She is survived by her daughter, Amy Balmer (Wes) of Fayetteville, NC and her son, John Rogers (Lisa) of Green Bay, WI; seven grandchildren; as well as her husband, James Moore of Fort Myers, FL.
