Terrell Wayne Brooks, Jr. (T.J), 45, a resident of Cape Coral for the past 15 years, formerly of Miami and Arizona, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2023 in Charlotte County. Terrell was a member of the Coral Gable United Methodist Church of Coral Gable, FL. He was an avid fisherman and had a love for the water. He was a member of Backstreets competitive dart league. His smile would light up a room and he was always that friend you could count on. He wore his heart on his sleeve and would give you the shirt off his back if you were in need. Family and Friends are what mattered. The time he spent with his nieces and nephew were T.J’s most cherished times.
He is survived by two sisters, Eddisse Brooks Turner (Brian) of Port Charlotte and Erika Ferencik (Troy) of Wickenburg, AZ; paternal grandmother, Lois M. Brooks, of Cape Coral; five nieces, Kaitlyn, Georgia, Tori, Cheyenne and Grace; one nephew, Austin; paternal aunt, Diane Wakely (John) of Caldwell, NJ; paternal uncle, Richard Brooks of Cape Coral; maternal aunt, Karen Marlow (Bob) of Lady Lake, FL; and maternal aunt, Judi Rollins of Virginia.
